Shannon Carlson is an associate with Rai & Barone, P.C. Ms. Carlson received her Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a certificate in International Business from Arizona State University in 2003. While obtaining her undergraduate degrees, Ms. Carlson participated in various activities including Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Fraternity, and working as a research assistant for a social psychology professor.
Ms. Carlson received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Iowa-College of Law in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Carlson was a student writer for the Journal of Corporate Law as well as a competitor in Moot Court. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Law Fraternity and treasurer of the Organization of Women Lawyers and Law Students.
Throughout law school, Ms. Carlson worked as a research assistant for Professor Herbert Hovenkamp researching various issues in Property Law and Antitrust Law. In her third year of law school, Ms. Carlson attended Arizona State for the fall semester as a visiting student. During law school, she gained legal experience as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorneys’ Office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ms. Carlson was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in October 2006, and is admitted to practice in all Arizona Courts and the United States District Court, District of Arizona.
