Ms. Pokora received her Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Arizona State, she was a member of the Division I competitive swim team and a Conoco Philips Scholarship recipient.
After obtaining her undergraduate degrees, Ms. Pokora attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she received a joint Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration degree in 2009. While in graduate school, Ms. Pokora gained legal experience as a law clerk for a civil law firm in Phoenix, and also had the privilege of working in criminal law for both the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office and the Federal Public Defender's Office for the District of Arizona in its Capital Habeas Unit.
Ms. Pokora was an associate editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a member of the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and was recognized for providing over 500 hours of pro bono legal services while attending law school.
Ms. Pokora is admitted to practice law in all Arizona State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. |
