Amy R. Fish

Associate Attorney

 

Ms. Fish is an associate with Rai & Barone, P.C.  Ms. Fish is a native of the Phoenix area.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Geography, cum laude, from Arizona State University in May of 2000, and is a member of Gamma Theta Upsilon (national geography honor society).  Prior to enrolling in law school at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, Ms. Fish first worked in the construction industry at engineering and landscape architecture firms.  In May of 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate and a Certificate, with a Specialization in Environmental Law, from the Center for the Study of Law, Science & Technology.

While in law school, Ms. Fish was on the Moot Court Board, and was the Chair of the Board during her first year on the Board.  Additionally, she gained legal experience during law school as an extern in the Attorney General’s Office, an intern in the legal department of a state agency, and as a student mediator. 

After law school, Ms. Fish worked in the field of water resources management as both a regulator and as an attorney.  Her water rights practice included managing developer surface and groundwater rights, environmental litigation, and State and Federal administrative law.  Currently, her practice focus is in construction defect and product liability litigation.

Ms. Fish is admitted to practice law in all Arizona state courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Maricopa Count Bar Association.  Additionally, she is a citizen member of the City of Tempe Aviation Commission, and is an alternate member of the Arizona State University/City of Tempe Joint Review Commission.
